Created by Presidential Decree No 2004/095 of 23 April 2004, the Cameroon Postal Services, in abbreviated form “CAMPOST”, is a company with public capital whose sole shareholder is the State of Cameroon. It results from the merger of the former Société Nationale des Postes (SONAPOST) and former Caisse d’Epargne postale du Cameroun (CEPC).
